The history of CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System is one of faith, compassion, and service. In March 1937, the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth opened Mother Frances Hospital one day early to care for victims of the New London School explosion. This act of dedication laid the foundation for a healthcare ministry devoted to serving the community. Today, CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances serves Northeast Texas as a nonprofit, faith-based health system committed to improving lives. Recognized nationally for patient satisfaction, technology, and quality, we continue our mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
