City Theatre's mission is to provide an artistic home for the development and production of contemporary plays of substance and ideas that engage and challenge diverse audiences.

City Theatre annually produces a season of six (6) contemporary plays and new works from a diverse set of voices, focusing on world premieres, regional premieres, and second productions.
