Clemson Catholic Campus Ministry

Clemson's Campus Ministry aims to be a place where students can encounter Christ at Clemson. We do this through three main areas: Sacraments, Relationships, and Service. 

Sacraments:
Students can be found attending daily Mass, waiting in line for Confession that is offered three times a week, and adoring Christ in the Sacrament of the Eucharist each morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. This is the most important thing we do, creating a space for students to truly encounter Christ as he has given himself to his Church. 

Relationships:
This takes many forms in our ministry. Every Tuesday, over 100 students gather to grow in relationship and eat a meal cooked for them by a St. Andrew's parishioner. Any given Thursday might find a bonfire put on by Men's Ministry, or a Friday might include a Chicks 'N Flicks movie night from our Women's Ministry. Our FOCUS Missionaries have helped train over 70 students who now lead their own Bible Studies, helping students to know Christ and each other through his word. Our Social and Outreach chairs work hard to create several opportunities each semester to reach new students and to help those already a part of Catholic Tigers have a home away from home. 

Service:
Our students work diligently to bring Christ to the larger Clemson community. Regular service opportunities include partnerships with Foothills Care Center, Clemson Community Care, Rebuild Upstate and Our Daily Rest. We have thrown a baby shower for an expecting student, purchased Christmas gifts for local families in need, and attended the March for Life. 

Through these three pillars, we have seen remarkable growth over the last several years. Some examples include: 

Tuesday Night Dinners: 

2023-2024 - average student attendance was 90

2024 - Average attendance was 110 

A 22% weekly increase 

Fall Retreat

In 2023, 48 students registered 

In 2024,  64 students registered

A 33% increase in retreat attendance 

Catholic Tigers Registration:

2020-2021 - 165 students registered

2024-2025 - 379 students registered 

Over a 100% increase in students registered over the last four years
