To improve the mental health and wellness of the communities we serve, through education, workforce development, and outreach.

Clover's community-level efforts rely on local support from members of our community. Our work in 2023 will include providing training to community members to promote mental health awareness and to reduce the stigma around mental health care. We train community members in important topics such as Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Prevention, in order to empower community members to recognize and respond to mental health concerns in their friends and loved ones. We also train medical providers in behavioral health topics, in order to ensure that they can most effectively treat the whole health of their patients, because mental health is an important component of a person's overall health and wellness. Our work this year also will extend into the schools, where we will work with students and teachers to promote positive messaging around mental health and wellness, so that the children of our community will feel equipped to openly discuss mental health and to seek help when it's needed.
