CCC serves Southeast Louisiana's entrepreneurs and their families through business technical assistance, economic development, continued disaster assistance, and environmental education and advocacy. We believe that placing an equal emphasis on strong business and strong families is central to a vibrant coastal economy. By prioritizing business equity and economic stability, we give coastal entrepreneurs the tools to foster and sustain resilience both on land and at sea.

The commercial fishing industry is a pillar of Louisiana, linked to thousands of businesses and families across the state and beloved by tourists visiting us. GiveNOLA day is an important day for our entire community to come together and help over 900 Louisiana-based organizations sustain vital services.

Particularly now, we understand that times are tough, and many worthy organizations like CCC have experienced a loss of funding, potentially impacting our services. However, we believe in the power of our work and our people as much as we believe in sustaining a thriving coast.

In 2024, CCC provided 721 individuals/small businesses with language-relevant technical assistance tailored to their needs, helping to retain 564 jobs and create 22 new jobs. This included $2,965,184 in grants and $1,407,95 in loans successfully secured.
