  6. Provide quality programming to promote client's mental well being

“When I started the program I was turning 15 and things were bad for me and my mom. Ms. Allisha came to my school and shared her story of being a teen mom and I felt she knew what I was going through. I went up to her when the program was over and she just hugged me, really hard and I knew she felt my tears. She called me the same day and gave me a case worker. She bought me a basket full of clothes and diapers for my son, a bed because he was sleeping with me and she said that was not safe. And she helped my mom with our rent which helped us move to a better house.

The program helped me be a better mom because they helped me with providing for my baby. They teach us how to deal with bad moments, relationships, saving money and not giving up on ourselves just because we had a child. Im graduating highschool this year and I know it's partly because this program, my worker and especially Ms. Allisha didn’t give up on me and help me to not give up on myself. “ - Siarra, 17 yr old program particiapnt
