Connecticut Fair Housing Center

No one should lose their home because of discrimination.
Your support keeps Connecticut families safely housed and protected.

Gifts may be matched during Give Local!

Right now in Connecticut, too many families are being pushed out of their homes due to discrimination, unsafe conditions, and rising housing instability.

At the Connecticut Fair Housing Center, we work every day to protect renters, fight discrimination, and hold housing systems accountable, all at no cost to the people we serve.

Every week, we hear from Connecticut residents facing eviction, unsafe housing conditions, or discrimination—and we step in to help.

What we do

• Investigate housing discrimination

• Provide free legal support to tenants

• Prevent evictions and displacement

• Educate renters and communities about fair housing rights

• Conduct outreach so people know where to turn for help

• Support tenant organizing and community power

• Advocate for stronger housing protections statewide

Why your gift matters right now

Housing instability is rising, and without intervention, families can lose their homes, their health, and their sense of security.

Your donation helps us:

• Keep families housed

• Challenge discriminatory landlords

• Improve housing conditions across communities

• Build long-term solutions for housing justice

The impact of your gift

• $25 → Helps us respond to a housing discrimination inquiry

• $50 → Supports outreach so tenants know their rights

• $100+ → Helps fund legal advocacy to stop displacement

Every dollar makes a difference, especially during Give Local, when matching funds and prizes can multiply your impact.
