The Joint Commission has accredited Consejo Counseling and Referral Service for the excellent work that each member of the Consejo team provides.

The Joint Commission, which has accredited hospitals, health centers, and other treatment institutions since 1969, is a global leader in quality improvement and patient safety in health care. Consejo Counseling meets the quality standards set forth by this commission, which demonstrates its commitment to providing the highest quality of behavioral health care.

Currently, there are less than 3,000 behavioral health centers and agencies with this accreditation across the country. As an organization, Consejo is proud to be included in this select group of institutions.

As a result, each member of Consejo’s staff has shown an exceptional level of performance in caring for facilities, for systems, for each other, and above all, caring for those the organization serves. Consejo fulfills its mission every day by helping clients regain the ability to participate fully in their communities.
