Inspire, Nurture, and Innovate with a gift to the Contemporary!

Contemporary at Blue Star serves as the beating heart of San Antonio’s contemporary art scene. Within its walls, generations of San Antonians have gathered to draw inspiration from the boundary-pushing works of local, national, and international artists. Contributions to the Contemporary during the Big Give will support school transportation to and from the Contemporary for tours and school visits.

Duncan the #bluestarartdog is celebrating 10 years on staff!

Yes, you read that right—Duncan really is part of our team, and this year marks a whole decade of his wagging tail, warm welcomes, and love for the Contemporary.

To celebrate our favorite furry friend, we’d love for you to join us in supporting what Duncan cares about most: arts education. During the Big Give, your gift helps keep our school bus program rolling, bringing students of all ages to the Contemporary to experience art up close. Together, we’re aiming to raise $10,000 so even more young people can discover the joy and inspiration of contemporary art and artists.

P.S. visit our Art Learning Lab for a Duncan coloring sheet, created for guests of all ages (because everyone deserves a little art + puppy joy).
