Citizens Organization for Police Support 2, Inc.

COPS2 exists to provide support for the New Orleans Police Department Second District. We accomplish this in three ways: Recognition: We express community appreciation for the officers who serve the Second District. Partnership: We work with Second District officers to determine ways to improve the quality of their working lives. Involvement: We strive to involve the larger Second District community to achieve our mission.

How your support helps NOPD Second District:
Using Funds Acquire:
- Laptops, printers, and external hard drives
- Motor scooters and bicycles
- Uniform gift certificates for officers
- Tactical flashlights and safety vests
- Ammunition for range practice
- Outfit police cars with special lights

Recognition programs
- Quarterly and annual awards and recognition
- Send officers to training seminars
- Provide food and water during emergency situations
- Provide counseling services for officers
- Act as liaisons with donors for onsite gym supplies for officers
- Utilize our members and contacts to supply meals, water, and snacks during Mardi Gras, emergencies, and pandemic
