Lorimor Child Empowerment Foundation dba Creating Exciting Futures

The purpose of this fund is to support underserved people in discovering and attaining their full potential. Its particular focus is homeless, foster and orphan children and youth. Emphasis will be placed on encouraging those who are helped to, in turn, give back. This organization intends to provide people with a hand up rather than a handout. As resources increase, more programs will be established, always with the idea of empowering individuals to be their best and make a difference.

Through a plethora of programs and collaborations with already established nonprofits, i.e., Rosie's House, Boys and Girls Clubs and other tax exempt organizations, Challenge Youth Fund (CYF) and Child Empowerment Foundation (CEF) promote learning by offering opportunities for participants to experience life through music and career opportunities. As an established 501(c)(3) organization, CEF focuses on providing a means of reaching youth and teens through fun, constructive music and educational activities - instilling confidence and character necessary for them to grow into productive members of society and responsible adults. The fund cooperates with other organizations to offer education and mentoring opportunities to underserved children and teens with an emphasis on empowering foster and orphaned children, as well as homeless youth.
