Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School

A nonprofit organization

Cristo Rey Brooklyn (CRB) is a Catholic high school partnering with families of limited income to create an environment where students can become people of faith, purpose and service. Through our rigorous curriculum, unique work-study experience and the support of an inclusive and deeply invested faculty and staff, we make it possible for students to succeed in college and beyond.

Our vision is to be considered one of the best high schools in New York as measured by academic growth and achievement, graduation rates and college success. CRB alumni will be recognized as lifelong learners, inspirational community and professional leaders, and committed to a purpose beyond self.

Though CRB educates children from across New York City and a variety of backgrounds, the common denominator is that all of our students come from families of modest economic means.  Despite their  limited resources, every family contribute approximately 10% of the cost of their children’s education with an average contribution of $1,800. The students themselves contribute up to half of the cost ($9,500 - $11,000) by working one day each week at many of New York’s leading companies and organizations. But this still leaves us with a funding gap of approximately $9,000 or more per student, per year.

We need your assistance to bridge this gap and help our students and families help themselves.

By supporting our Panther Scholarship Fund you enable us to fulfill our Mission, realize our Vision and give our talented students a hand up in life.
