Cross Benefit Inc.

A foundation led by Christ, Cross Benefit provides childcare for working poor families. With a focus on "latch-key" kids , our childcare care is provided by high school students trained and hired by Cross Benefit. Our mission statement is: Helping break the cycle of poverty by providing childcare for working poor families. Teens and young adults are hired to provide the childcare, resulting in teens and young adults developing skills by serving others.

Cross Benefit was developed to provide childcare and other services for working poor families. We hire and train high school students and young adults, providing job training skills by serving others in need. High school and college students who are passionate about helping others have the opportunity to be hired by Cross Benefit, Inc. Working alongside staff, college interns, board members, and other student workers, they will receive work experience while helping their community. The childcare services provided help families to break the cycle of poverty.

Cross Benefit provides childcare, house cleaning, small home repairs and tutoring services. Student workers and volunteers provide these services for those who may not be able to find or afford the help they need. Students are provided classroom and on the job training. By helping to improve the quality of life for those in need, students acquire skills that will benefit their future professional careers.

It is our goal to provide services to families who may not otherwise afford such services. The cost of childcare, for example, often precludes family members from gainful employment or it results in leaving children at home alone. Arizona ranks 4th as the most expense state for childcare. Arranging for childcare for after school, summer and holiday breaks often places additional logistical and financial burdens on families. It is our goal to meet this need with qualified teen Christ lead difference makers.

Cross Benefit is an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization for 2018. Your 2018 contributions are eligible for a 2018 tax credit.
