By donating today you are able to help the Crossmen continue to grow and provide life-changing experiences to students and help the organization grow to expand program offerings to underserved and challenged youth in San Antonio. Your contribution will help Crossmen secure rehearsal facilities that will be used for fall camps and practices. Securing these locations is critical for Crossmen and the San Antonio Community Wind Ensemble members.  We want to provide every member with world-class instruction. Your help is requested to impact the lives of our performers!

Originally founded in the Philadelphia area in 1974, Crossmen have called San Antonio home since the fall of 2006 and have changed the lives of thousands of young performers through its program offerings. In 2024 we celebrated our 50th anniversary!

Crossmen's mission is to create tomorrow's leaders today through youth development in the performing arts, and enable life changing experiences that teach the core values of excellence, perseverance, teamwork, and character.

Crossmen currently sponsors 3 performing groups –

Crossmen Drum Corps -  A Drum Corps International World Class Corps and 29 time finalist. This ensemble consists of 160 members who audition for spots in the fall, and then are instructed in music and performance from December – July, when they go on the road to compete against other World Class Corps. They often travel over 8,000 miles in busses for 6 weeks, competing and ending in Indianapolis, IN in early August for Drum Corps International World Championships.

San Antonio Community Wind Ensemble (SACWE) -  A community-based all all-age performing group, which gives concerts in the greater San Antonio area. This group includes teen aged performers, many who are underserved. Our instructors and musicians mentor these youth, and help them attain new levels of competence on their instrument. We also instill a drive to excel, and self-confidence for their accomplishments.

San Antonio Jazz Collective -  a dynamic and inclusive all-volunteer jazz ensemble renowned for its dedication to diversity and active community engagement. This is also an all age group consisting of adults and teens. Our instructors and adults mentor the teens to greater heights of performance, confidence, teamwork and perseverance to attain goals.
