DaisyCares.....Keeping Pets in Their Homes since 2009!!  That is our mission and we work daily to impact our community by providing pet food, emergency veterinary care grants and education.  

2024 Impact Report

• Over 927,000 pounds of pet food distributed to low-income households


• 65 emergency veterinary care grants funded, literally saving the lives of pets that might not otherwise receive treatment


• Project Kindness education program reached approximately 3000 kids in our community

DaisyCares is a well-established 501c3 non-profit that has served San Antonio and the surrounding counties since 2009.  Since then, it has continued to make a lasting difference in the lives of both animals and their humans by providing essential pet food, funding aid towards emergency veterinary care, and reducing animal abuse through animal welfare, education, and awareness. DaisyCares programs assist low-income households facing the prospect of surrendering or abandoning their pets. Each program that DaisyCares has put into place has helped keep pets with their families, and by addressing their immediate needs, DaisyCares has been able to foster a long-term solution to prevent pets from being surrendered to shelters or abandoned. 

2025 Goals

• 1,000,000 pounds of pet food distributed to low-income households allowing families to keep their pets!


• 98 emergency veterinary care grants funded, literally saving the lives of pets that might not otherwise receive treatment


• Project Kindness education program reached approximately 4000 kids in our community

We are closing in on our 2025 goals and it is only through your support that we continue to work in our community to keep pets in their homes and out of shelters.
