The Dayspring Therapeutic Equestrian Center of Harrison County strives to enhance the life skills and the independence of children and adults with disabilities as well as disabled Veterans with mild to moderate cognitive, physical, and/or emotional health disorders through multi-level equine programs.

Dayspring is a first of its kind in Harrison County. Its therapeutic horsemanship programs use equestrian activities such as riding and caring for horses to promote cognitive and physical benefits as well as emotional and social well-being. As participants improve their skills and form a unique relationship with their horse, they experience increased self-esteem, confidence, improved balance and coordination, improved mobility, enhanced strength, as well as their independence..
