Dechant Foundation

The Dechant Foundation is the Charitable arm in the Diocese of Dodge City. Three specific goals drive the Foundation with support of Priests being one of those goals.

2020 saw the edition of two more men entering priestly formation. How exciting for our Diocese! We also saw two priests retire in the last 12 months. Presenting the great opportunities to support the Foundation on Giving Tuesday.

Who We Are

The Dechant Foundation ensures ample funds to enhance the Catholic Church in Southwest Kansas as it lives its mission of stewardship.
The Dechant Foundation receives, solicits, and stewards funds so that the Catholic Church in Southwest Kansas will continue to:

Sustain, enhance and strengthen marriage and families within the Diocese.

Innovate, promote, and advance Catholic Formation for all generations.

Gather, form and encourage Priests for the future service in the Diocese of Dodge City.
