Denims World

DENIMS WORLD (Determined to Empower Nurture Inspire and Motivate) was formed in early 2014 as a resource organization. Stephanie Hendrix President and founder had been dealing with her husbands illness since 2009 and had to learn how to find the resources to get the things that he needed that medical insurance did not cover.

After she had been involved with different organizations who didn't seem to be on the same path she was she branched out on her own and Denims World was formed.
We are a resource group which individuals can contact to get information on places that will help with their daily living needs. We direct people to emergency shelters, food banks, medical equipment, churches, adult day cares as well as connecting them with other nonprofit groups in our community that can assist with their needs.

During the year we donate to multiple fundraisers as well as giving back our time in serving the homeless. We also sponsor events through out the year including our Annual Toy Drive and Adopt-a-Family during the Holiday season in which during past years have been able to provide for more than 300 families.

This year we were proud to be able to provide 60 Easter baskets form the children at Shriners Hospital St. Louis. We also assist in providing school supplies for children during the school year.

This year we were instrumental in bringing The Kids Wish Network Holiday Tour to St. Louis (the City of Dellwood) which provided school supplies, clothes and toys to over 1,700 children.

Our goal is to continue to help those individuals in their time of need by providing the necessary contact information to help get them the help they need to improve whatever situation they may be in.
