Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc.

The mission of Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc. is to provide a safe haven for individuals and families fleeing from abuse in the form of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking with the goal of empowering them to live safe, independent and violence free lifestyles.

Donations to Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc. will be used to help the survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault that we serve. We accomplish our mission in a variety of ways by providing emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis intervention for victims seeking safe refuge from domestic abuse or sexual assault and hospital accompaniment for victims of sexual assault. We also provide programs that meet the physical and emotional needs of these clients including individual counseling and support groups. We offer programs to increase public awareness of the issue of family violence and education about prevention efforts. DVP believes in the worth and dignity of all people and provides services based on this philosophy.
