The Down Syndrome of Greater New Orleans (DSAGNO) mission is to include individuals with Down syndrome in all areas of life by identifying the resources necessary for their participation and to demonstrate awareness of their ability. We offer a wide rang of services designed to support individuals with Down syndrome throughout their lives. From early intervention programs to adult services, we are here to provide guidance, resources, and advocacy at every stage.

The Down Syndrome Association of Greater New Orleans (DSAGNO) is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families. We provide vital support, advocacy, education, and community engagement to promote inclusion and independence. Our mission is to empower those with Down syndrome to reach their full potential and to foster an environment of acceptance and understanding within the community. Through our programs, resources, and events, we strive to build a connected and supportive network for all.

The Down Syndrome Association of Greater New Orleans annually hosts Buddy Walk to raise awareness in the month of October and to raise funds for a Spring Picnic and a Christmas party for individuals with Down syndrome and developmental disabilities. DSAGNO also offers financial assistance to individuals with Down syndrome and their families to attend national conferences.
