East Andover Village Preschool

At the top of a quiet hill in East Andover, something truly special has been growing since 1979.

That’s the year a group of dedicated local parents came together with a dream—to create a preschool where young children could learn, play, and thrive right here in their own community. With vision, love, and a little fundraising magic, East Andover Village Preschool was born. Though we are not church-affiliated, we’ve been blessed with the unwavering support of the Andover Community Church, who continue to cheer us on to this day.

Now known affectionately as “the little school on the hill,” our nonprofit preschool has served generations of local families with a nurturing, play-based education that prepares young children for a bright future. We’re licensed by the State of New Hampshire’s Child Care Licensing Bureau and proudly hold a Licensed PLUS status—recognition of our commitment to quality early education.

And this week, during NH Gives Day, you became part of our story.

Because of your generosity, we can continue providing a safe, joyful, and developmentally rich environment for children ages 2.5 to 5 years old. Your support means more stories, more songs, more hands-on discovery, and more confidence blooming in every child who walks through our doors.

With The Creative Curriculum as our foundation, our program is designed to support every child’s growth in literacy, math, science, social studies, and—most importantly—their social-emotional development. Your gift helps make that possible.

Who We Are

The East Andover Village Preschool was founded in 1979 by local parents who saw the need for such a school in the community and worked together to create, guide and finance it. East Andover Village Preschool is a non-profit preschool, licensed by the State of New Hampshire’s Child Care Licensing Bureau. Since 2015, we have been had the State of New Hampshire’s Licensed PLUS status which validates that we offer a quality, preschool program. Our program is for children between the ages of 3 years old and 5 years old, however we have some limited space for children of 2.5 years.
