Education Exchange Corps

A nonprofit organization

We've been working with kids in St. Louis since 2008.

We run the Summer Leadership Academy in North St. Louis City. Kids K-12 participate in our free Global Leadership Simulation where kids run the world. Kids form governments, deal with local and global challenges, and trade crayons for pipe cleaners during international summits held over juice. The game teaches so many important skills and covers a wide range of topics by allowing kids to be creative. We bring in special guest adults from the community to play a role in the game and share their knowledge with our young leaders.

We also employ local high school and college-aged young adults to help run our summer academy as national advisers. In addition to employing youth, our King Sam's Guardians of Good program also teaches civic engagement and financial management, and assists students with college access.

In addition to our leadership programming, we serve as a lead partner for Hack4Hope, a project that teaches area teenagers coding, technology, and entrepreneurship through an annual hands-on challenge where our students are asked to use what they know to come up with a solution to a civic problem in a hackathon-style event.

We would be honored to have your support as we help more kids understand the power they have to lead the world.
