Edgewood Foundation

The purpose of the Edgewood Foundation is to enhance the cultural, social, and educational environment of Edgewood through sponsoring and initiating such events and projects that will bring the citizens of the Borough of Edgewood, PA, together and to foster community activity and community identity.

To promote Edgewood's sense of community, the Foundation arranges and participates in a number of events each year: Progressive Dinner This neighborhood tradition is a wonderful way for residents to get to know each other and to reconnect with old friends. It is nearing its 20th year of gathering neighbors together for food and fun. Newcomers' Reception This reception welcomes residents who have moved to Edgewood during the preceding year. It's our way of welcoming them to the neighborhood and introducing them to fellow residents, Borough officials, and other local organizations. Edgewood Clean-Up Days With the financial help of grant from the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, local volunteers and Foundation members devote many hours each spring to make Edgewood a community full of flowers.
