Edgewood Symphony Orchestra

The Edgewood Symphony Orchestra, a not-for-profit organization, strives to be the best volunteer symphony orchestra in the region while providing cultural experiences to our members and community through challenging symphonic music. The ESO is committed to valuing its members and providing them with the opportunity to improve their technical and musical skills and share their passion through high quality performances and educational outreach.

With local choirs: For the past several seasons, the ESO has performed gratis for the Renaissance City Choir at their Holiday Concert. In turn, the RCC joins the ESO for its own holiday concert. This activity is expected to continue with the RCC and/or other local choral organizations, as part of the ESO's strategic plan of building more collaborations. With the Pittsburgh Concert Society: For the past two years the ESO has performed a concert with the winner of the Pittsburgh Concert Society's Young Artist Competition. In May of 2012 we accompanied a young violin soloist and in March of 2013 we accompanied a young harpist. We are excited to continue the successful collaboration for years to come.
