Who We Are

Known as the Festival Season "kickoff" - our event takes place the 3rd full weekend of May each year. Kicking off on Thursday the four-day festival holds events throughout the weekend until sundown on Sunday at venues all over town. We encourage, promote and present a wider understanding of local & regional folk culture and heritage through music, art, dance, and wellness.
We host musical performances, workshops & instruction, art on display and for sale, demonstrating artisans, dance & wellness workshops and children's activities & workshops. Our entire schedule of events is free and open to the public.
