Students Helping Students!

Educational Justice (EJ) believes that students are key to ending inequity in education. EJ recruits and trains high achieving high school students to academically mentor under-resourced 5th-8th grade peers for a year, at no cost to their families. This one-on-one model successfully drives academic improvement in the 5th-8th graders while providing social support to these students as they navigate the challenges of middle school. High school students focus their academic success and leadership capacity in helping their peers succeed, building soft skills and a high quality experience they can use for college applications.
