Who We Are

For nearly 50 years, the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania (EFEPA) has been a trusted source of support, education, and hope for individuals and families affected by epilepsy.

Serving an 18-county region across Eastern Pennsylvania, EFEPA is dedicated to improving the lives of the more than 110,000 people living with epilepsy in our community. Through education, advocacy, research, and direct support, we are working toward a future free from seizures, SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy), and the challenges epilepsy creates for individuals and families.

We envision a seizure-safe community where every person impacted by epilepsy is met with understanding, support, and access to the resources they need to thrive. From Seizure Recognition & First Aid Training and educational conferences to support groups, Camp Achieve, the Young Adult Retreat, and Adult Wellness Weekend, our programs provide life-changing opportunities for connection, empowerment, and belonging.

When you support EFEPA, you help ensure that no one faces epilepsy alone.
