Elba Community Foundation Inc

The principal purpose of the Elba Community Foundation Inc is to provide the residents of Elba and the surrounding areas with a place to gather for community activities such Youth Hunter Safety Course and community activities.

The Elba Community Foundation Inc. was formed in 2003 as a non-profit organization. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) and a public charity 509(a)(e) organization. We began collecting funds for a new community center. The new building was a project which was achieved by donations, gifts, memorial gifts, pledges and many fundraisers. Fundraisers 4th of July Hamburger Feed, GCA Days in July each year, Junk Jaunt held the end of September and the Christmas Craft Fair first Saturday in December. The groundbreaking was held on May 31, 2006 and the ribbon cutting was August 4, 2007. The Elba Community Center was a designed as a place for all to gather for wedding receptions, funeral dinners, anniversary celebrations, teen activities, youth groups as well as fundraisers. The Elba Community Foundation is very appreciative of the support we receive in our many endeavors and will continue to sponsor events and projects for the betterment of Elba Nebraska.
