$6,000 Goal

This Give STL Day, we are raising $6,000 for necessary pool repairs so youth on our residential campus have a safe place to swim, connect, and enjoy summer.

For our youth, the pool is more than recreation, it’s joy. It’s relief on a hot day. It’s a place to laugh with friends and simply be a kid.

Youth at Epworth Children & Family Services are navigating foster care transitions, housing instability, and mental health challenges. They need a safe, supportive place to heal and plan what comes next. Our 7-acre campus provides the structure and stability needed to grow toward independence.

Each summer, the pool becomes a daily gathering place for youth on our campus. Some years, 90% of children learn to swim in our pool, many for the first time.

Your gift will make a meaningful difference in restoring our outdoor space and creating a summer filled with connection and joy. Every gift moves us closer.

Help give our youth the kind of summer where happy childhood memories are made.

If we exceed our $6,000 goal, additional gifts will support lasting pool improvements such as a permanent shade structure, resurfacing, and a new slide—benefiting youth for many summers to come.

ABOUT EPWORTH

For more than 160 years, Epworth Children & Family Services has helped children and families across the St. Louis region build strong, healthy futures. In 2025, 4,330 youth and families accessed housing, mental health care, and supportive services through Epworth.

Epworth focuses on youth navigating foster care, housing instability, or crisis—and the families working to stay together. Our services are designed to meet every stage of need:

  • Family Support Network strengthens families and helps prevent the need for foster care
  • Residential Treatment provides intensive mental health care and a safe place for youth to heal
  • Psychological Services help young people better understand their needs and access the right support
  • Street Outreach & Drop-In Services connect youth experiencing homelessness to basic needs and care
  • Transitional & Independent Living programs help young people build stable, independent futures

Each program addresses a specific need, but together, they create something more powerful: a continuum of care that helps youth and families move toward safety, stability, and a brighter future.
