Equality Federation is an advocacy accelerator rooted in social justice, building power in our network of state-based lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) advocacy organizations.
Together, we form the largest national network advocating for LGBTQ+ equality and liberation, with our collective power reaching over 2 million people across the country.
We know that state-level advocacy has the power to lead the way and guide the work we do locally and nationally. e are dedicated to taking an intersectional approach to dismantle the deeply entrenched systemic barriers that disproportionately affect trans and nonbinary individuals, as well as Black, Indigenous, and other LGBTQ+ people of color.

Redirected over $230,000 in funding to our state partners for emergency legislative session needs, paid call programs, and wellness & healing justice.
Launched our Vanguard HIV Policy Change-Makers Fellowship to advance HIV policy changes across the nation.
Provided support to nine state partners through our Paid Call Program to make over 20,000 calls to their elected officials during particularly tough sessions.
