Erie Zoo

The Erie Zoo is a 100-year-old landmark asset for the region.  It attracts nearly 300,000 guests each year and serves as the anchor of one of the City of Erie's most vibrant entertainment districts.  It connects the Flo Fabrizio Ice Center, the J.C. Martin Gold Course, and Glenwood Park. It is among the most beloved locations in Erie County.  The zoo is a leader in conservation education in the region, hosting thousands of children and adults annually while offering one-of-a-kind educational programming. The zoo plays an important role in conservation both locally and globally.  It supports important worldwide breeding and conservation programs as well as unique local efforts such as the Last Chance Lagoon, which keeps invasive fish out of local waterways.
