Erika's Lighthouse: A Beacon of Hope for Adolescent Depression

A nonprofit organization

Erika's Lighthouse is a not-for-profit dedicated to educating and raising awareness about adolescent depression, encouraging good mental health and breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

We promote inclusive school cultures around mental health by empowering educators, students and families through education, awareness, stigma reduction, good mental health and help-seeking. Our vision is to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression and that everyone in the school community has the knowledge and support they need to create lasting, positive culture change. We believe in equitable access, and all of our high-quality programs are funded by donors, so cost is not a barrier for schools.  Every student in grades 6-12 in Jefferson County Public Schools receives the Erika's Lighthouse classroom program, impacting almost 50,000 students in Jefferson County every school year. Your support will allow us to continue to bring high-quality mental health education to students.
