East Texas State Fair

A nonprofit organization

The East Texas State Fair brings our community together to celebrate heritage, promote agriculture, provide family-friendly entertainment and facilitate the development of our future leaders.

The East Texas State Fair is a 100-year old community tradition based on promoting agriculture and education in our community while providing quality family fun. The fair generates a $12 million economic impact for the City of Tyler and Smith County while providing thousands of local students with educational opportunities and scholarships.

The East Texas State Fair consists of numerous youth competitions such as public speaking, landscape design, floral design, plant identification, livestock shows, photography, art, and more. In addition, annual school tours welcome thousands of K-5th grade students to the Fair for guided ag education field trips. Exhibitions at the Fair are designed to educate the community about modern agricultural topics.
