WHAT WE DO

We provide Equine-assisted Services (EAS) in Therapeutic Horsemanship and Learning. EAS activities serve as a platform to create a conduit between human and equine that rewards the participants with enthusiasm and excitement, while realizing multiple underlying achievements.

EAS activities have evolved into a well-respected method widely recognized by medical, psychiatric, and social service professionals worldwide.

WHO WE SERVE

We serve children and adults starting at age 4 with a wide range of support needs — including physical and cognitive disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, and those with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

PROGRAMS

Therapeutic Horsemanship

Our lessons incorporate both adaptive riding and groundwork activities so the participant can experience many aspects of interacting with their equine partner.  Adaptive Riding is a non-traditional therapeutic activity in which the three-dimensional movement of the horse is like the human gait, developing muscle strength, balance, cognition, and sensory/motor development.

Equine-Assisted
Learning Programs (EAL)

Experiential learning activities designed to foster critical life skills
such as healthy decision-making, creative thinking, self-awareness,
empathy, communication, and coping mechanisms. Program areas include:

  • Education

  • Personal
    Development

  • Organizational
    Skills
