Faithworks Fellowship Ministries

A nonprofit organization

In 2012, Bishop Mark Grimes and Pastor Tina began their ministry as an outreach to the homeless community. The Bishop and Pastor began to go on a weekly basis, feeding and ministering to this community. At this time, this effort was totally funded through their own pockets. Soon their children joined, then family and friends, and other fellow Christians. This became an extraordinary effort, and this is where they finally decided to take a leap of faith and create their own ministry.

God spoke to Bishop Mark Grimes and his wife, Pastor Tina Grimes. Although they were currently members at another church, they received the full support of that church to begin their own ministry. Within their ministry, they knew that they wanted something contemporary to entice all Christians from all walks of their faith. They also knew that they wanted to be in close proximity with students. Lastly, but most importantly, they wanted to continue to make an impact on the homeless community. FaithWorks hosted their first service on Easter Sunday in 2013. Since then, they have had a great impact in the St. Louis community! They have now expanded their ministry to include not just the homeless, but also financial literacy, mental health, community advocacy and engagement, youth programming, and senior citizen programming.
