Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire

Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire was founded in 2000 when seven local congregations came together with a shared belief: that every family deserves the chance to rise above crisis.  From our humble beginnings, we have expanded our programs and capacity to help families in two meaningful ways.

Transitional Program: In our Transitional Program, families receive safe, secure housing at our Nashua and Derry homes while they get back on their feet. Healthy meals, a stable environment, and structured support allow parents to focus on building their future. We serve families across Hillsborough and western Rockingham Counties, providing everything they need to rebuild their lives from the ground up. 

Prevention Program: We provide short-term assistance through our  Prevention Program, offering housing search support and direct financial assistance for rent arrears, utilities, and transportation - stopping homelessness before it starts. 

We believe that a home is not just four walls - it's the foundation for a child's education, a parent's career, and a family's future. Our holistic approach addresses the root causes of homelessness so that the families we serve don't just survive - they thrive.
