Farm to School of Park County

A nonprofit organization

Guiding schools and communities in building a prosperous local food culture that places healthy food on the plates and in the minds of all Park County children and their families

We envision a future where all Park County communities have a deep and meaningful connection to food and where it comes from.

Farm to School of Park County connects students and families with Montana food and agriculture through hands-on education and food production. Our programs take place primarily in public schools and focus on practical skills like gardening, cooking, and nutrition. We help establish and maintain school and community farms and and gardens that serve both educational and food access goals.

As community needs have grown, our work has expanded beyond the classroom to support long-term efforts that strengthen local food systems, promote self-reliance, and encourage healthy habits for children and families.
