Fat Boy Foundation

A nonprofit organization

We believe that skilled trades are essential to building a strong workforce and thriving communities. The Fat Boy Foundation Scholarship directly supports students pursuing careers in trade schools, apprenticeships, and vocational programs-ensuring they have the tools, education, and resources to succeed. Scholarships: We award scholarships to students who are committed to skilled trades like electrical lineman programs, welding, mechanics, HVAC, plumbing, medical tech fields, and more. Tools & Equipment Assistance: Helping students afford the necessary tools and certifications for their trade.

Fat Boy Foundation was formed in memory of our son Jonathan Holland. He was killed in a car wreck along side our neighbors daughter Addison Shepherd on 11-1-23 in Henderson. The accident was caused by a distracted driver which killed 2 kids. Jonathan was in electrical lineman school at TSTC Marshall at his time of death. We want to help kids go to Trade Schools through scholarships. last year we gave out over $24,000 in Scholarships to kids. This is our second year helping out kids with scholarships. we have set aside $20,000 for the 2025-2026 year to give to children.
