FBLA-Jr. Scholarship Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The goal of The FBLA- Jr. Scholarship Foundation is to educate and teach adolescents and young adults about financial literacy to impart good habits at a young age. The FBLA- Jr. Scholarship is inspired to change the relationship that adolescents and young adults have with money. The foundation believes when young adults are equipped with the knowledge on the importance of financial literacy, they will have the ability to make better decisions to reach their financial goals.

The FBLA- Jr. Scholarship Foundation program is designed to
address the needs of adolescents and young adults regardless
of barriers or economic status with the opportunity to learn
about the basics of money.

? We aim to increase knowledge and participation in their
personal finance management
? Introduce age appropriate financial concepts to assist in
helping them manage their money wisely
? Foster positive self esteem and financial confidence

Young people today face more challenging financial
choices. The FBLA-Jr. Scholarship Foundation believes it is
important to know about money at an early age, as it is a
life skill. No matter the age, when people are financially
confident, they are better positioned to support local
businesses and contribute to their local economy which
helps communities thrive.

Testimonials

Each year we issue scholarships to applicants to assist with college costs. Also every July, we have a financial literacy camp. We take one week to go over financial responsibility as a tax payer. We go over the money system in America. The theme is SPEND,SAVE,SHARE!
