Film Erie is the unified legacy and missions of the Film Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania and the Greater Erie Film Office. Founded in 2011, this new chapter brings a bold vision, refreshed branding, and a renewed commitment to building a thriving film culture and creative economy across Northwest Pennsylvania.

Film Erie connects Northwest Pennsylvania’s film workers and film lovers. A home for everyone on both sides of the camera, we’re here for the cinephiles, the industry professionals, and anyone excited about movies. By empowering storytellers and supporting productions, we’re helping to build a thriving film culture and advancing economy in our corner of the commonwealth and beyond.
