Mission

Fishline coordinates resources to help people onto a path of sustainability so that our community thrives.

Vision

Fishline envisions a community where everyone can become self-sufficient and reach their full potential.

Description

Since 1967, Fishline has served the North Kitsap community by providing food, emergency services, and resources to transform lives. We are the second oldest food bank in the United States, distributing more than one million pounds of food annually. Fishline is essentially a "one-stop-shop" for critical social services, including outdoor provisions, clothing, school supplies, and financial assistance. Our Children's Services programs help children celebrate memorable occasions in their young lives. Recently, we have added three new services for our neighbors in need: free counseling and Student Opportunity and Advancement Resources (SOAR), which provides funding for students to engage in extracurricular activities, and Recreation for All Assistance Program (RAAP) which funds classes, camps, activities, and events at Poulsbo Parks and Recreation.
