Food Bank of the Southern Tier

Who We Are

The Food Bank team works daily to build and sustain hunger-free communities throughout the Southern Tier. We do so by acquiring and distributing more than 10 million pounds of food and grocery products to people in need through our network of 164 partner agencies including food pantries, meal programs, shelters and others across Broome, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins Counties. The Food Bank also administers direct service food programs including the BackPack Program™ and Mobile Food Pantry Program.

Vision: The Food Bank of the Southern Tier is committed to creating a future without hunger where access to healthy food by all is recognized as fundamental to the well-being and success of individuals and the foundation of a strong, vibrant society.
