Fort Tuthill Military Museum, Inc

A nonprofit organization

To Preserve and Present, the 157+ year history of Arizona's 158th Infantry Regiment, Arizona National Guard and Historic Fort Tuthill.

FTMM is deeply committed to seeing the museum grow and succeed as an educational and visitor orientated community resource. The Museum is a 501c3 organization with an all-volunteer staff. We re-opened after an extensive renovation and relocation in 2017. It is currently housed in two of Fort Tuthill's original buildings located in the Fort Tuthill County Park quadrant. The fort was constructed in 1929 and named after General Alexander M. Tuthill and was considered one of the finest National Guard training facilities in the United States. Coconino County Park maintains General Tuthill's name and has preserved a military signature.

Testimonials

" The Museum stewards and shares a tale of significant contribution to Flagstaff, the state of Arizona, and it's national armed service record. This unique Museum captures almost 150 years of the 158th's remarkable military history through its sizable array of documents, ephemera, photographs, and "tools of the trade." This story should not be consigned to the warehouse, but shared with the public in the most respectful and professional manner" The Ft. Tuthill Museum's funding request represents an excellent opportunity to support historic preservation and enhance education and enjoyment of Arizona military history. I encourage you to give history a present and fund this request." William Kalt, Historian
