Fountain of Hope Homeless Ministries, Inc.

It is our mission that every individual and family be given the opportunity to have healthy food, safety and security in their homes, and resources for themselves and their children. Our goal is to eradicate physical abuse, homelessness, and lack of education and employment to the women and children of Westmoreland County.

At Fountain of Hope Homeless Ministries, we serve meals to our Westmoreland County community on a daily basis, twice a day! Additionally, when our community families are in need, we make sure that they never go hungry and that their family is provided with healthy food. In that regard, we put together a box full of food for the adults to cook and serve in their homes. When clothing is needed, we stand ready to give various clothing items for men, women, and children. We have no limits and our doors are always open and ready to serve! Even though all of those efforts in themselves are strong and powerful for our community, we do not stop there. We provide shelter for women who have lost their homes and have no protection or safety with a roof over their heads. Therefore, we graciously bring them in not only to provide shelter and protection, which they so desperately need, but to work with them individually and in groups to direct and them with regards to job opportunities, identifying their potential and skills, and to bring solidarity and regain independence and confidence in themselves so that they can re-enter society with pride and confidence.
