Every service we offer at the Family Resource Center is free to families, but not free to deliver. As funding shifts and community needs grow, your support ensures our trusted professionals can continue meeting families where healing and connection happen in homes, classrooms, and community spaces. 

Our Mission 

We’re dedicated to building healthier families and stronger communities across northern New Hampshire. Through positive relationships, evidence-based programs, and local collaborations, we empower families to thrive, preventing abuse and neglect before it starts. 

What We Do 

In the past year alone, the Family Resource Center at Gorham has: 

• Provided parent education and support 


• Addressed food insecurity for local families 


• Supported at-home learning for children 


• Offered substance misuse interventions 


• Facilitated peer counseling and support groups 

Our five Resource Centers in Berlin, Gorham, Littleton, Lancaster, and Colebrook serve families both in-person and remotely, ensuring no one is left behind.

Who We Are

The FRC mission to build healthier families and stronger communities through positive relationships and collaborations in the North Country is achieved through family support and after-school programming that offers evidence-based home visiting to all families, providing positive parenting skills, early learning & development supports, stress/trauma reduction and youth enrichment opportunities.

Our future is only as strong as our children and their families. The Family Resource Center is passionate about improving the quality of life for the children of northern New Hampshire and make sure they have access to all opportunities for success.
