Friends of the Amarillo Public Library

The Friends of
the Amarillo Public Library are proud to support APL by funding educational
programs not financed by taxpayer dollars.  This year, during The Panhandle Gives, every
contribution you make will help launch an exciting new initiative: the Library
of Things.

Imagine
checking out an ice cream maker, power drill, telescope, karaoke machine, or night
vision goggles, just like you would a book. That’s the idea behind the Library
of Things: a collection of practical, creative, and hard-to-store items
that people may only need occasionally.

Each day of the
campaign will highlight a new fundraising goal connected to a featured
category: Baking & Cooking, Home Improvement, Science & Technology,
Entertainment & Music, and more.  Your
support will help the Friends bring this innovative new service to the Amarillo
community!
