Friends of Woodbury Senior Community Center, Inc.

For 18+ years the non-profit Friends of Woodbury Senior Community Center, Inc. has raised funds to purchase needed items that fall beyond the Woodbury Senior Community Center’s town-approved budget.  These include:

• Offering 4 free community concerts annually


• Outfitting the center (in past years) with furniture, computers, fitness equipment, a Smart TV for the Center's TV Room, blinds for the O&G Community Room, acoustic materials for the Center's cafe


• Purchasing an SUV to augment the Center's transportation system


• 
  Obtaining a significant donation from O&G Industries towards the purchase and installation of a new audio/visual system in the O&G Community Room
  


• Purchasing a replacement refrigerator/freezer for the Center's kitchen 


• Continuing to underwrite programs/services for the Center

Over time, programs and services have increased exponentially and drawn many Woodbury and area seniors to the Center improving their quality of life.  However, the 18+ year-old Center continues to have "needs" beyond its town-approved budget.

Thus, our the main goal is to continue to support the identified needs of our Center.
