Friends of the North Miami Public Library

The Friends of the North Miami Public Library group was incorporated under the laws of Florida as a not-for-profit organization in 1983. The founders and members are everyday users of the Library, your neighbors. The Friends play an important advocacy role, especially as regards funding issues. Friends advocate for the North Miami Public Library patrons, staff, volunteers, and citizens by raising funds to purchase reading materials, equipment, supplies, refreshments, field trips, professional services, and free to the public programs that enhance intergenerational literacy. This 39 year old organization has a 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service. Donations are tax deductible and an official letter of receipt will be sent to each donor
