The Friends Program, Inc.

The Friends Program serves  those in need with volunteers, programs, and services in local communities to make a difference.  It is our mission to build positive connections and solutions for at-risk youth, families and seniors.

We foster the power of human connection to address root causes of social challenges with individualized support, tools, and resources through youth mentoring programs, a shelter for homeless families, and volunteer programs that fulfill the needs of seniors to actively contribute in the community and live healthier lives.

We work to:

• Increase access to shelter and long term housing security for families


• Increase access to food security


• Inspire confident kids


• Improve educational outcomes for at-risk youth through intergenerational learning


• Improve opportunities for healthy aging


• Leverage the power of volunteers to solve community needs

Founded in 1975, the Friends Program is a non-profit social service organization that recruits, trains, and manages volunteers to meet community needs.  We are grateful for every donation.
