Through a 100% volunteer and community-based effort, we strive to address food insecurity in our community in new and innovative ways, We acknowledge the old model of a one size fits all once a month food box may provide some nutrition but does little to address food insecurity. And any solution needs to offer the dignity and respect we would hope for if the shoe were on the other foot.

We address the Food insecurity from a whole new perspective. People that need our help need to have the opportunity to shop for their food like everyone does
1. We are open 3 pm to 7 pm Wednesday through Sunday. So working people don't have to miss work to get help.
2. You shop the shelves just like a market. This eliminates waste and provide food want and can use.
3. We allow people to shop weekly just like 95% of America does.
4. Food recovery although very important cannot solve the problem. Too many staples are always in short supply.
5. We spend our money on food to supplement recovery and donations, not payroll. And we always offer fresh eggs, milk, and meat

After operating for only 10 months we are very proud to say we have over 2000 members, provided nearly $400,000 worth of food to help feed over 33,000 people of which 11,000 were children. And the most amazing thing is we provided $4.00 worth of food for every $1.00 that was donated. Thats right if you donate $10 we'll supply your neighbors in flagstaff who need help $40.00 worth of food. How can we do this; Low overhead , no payroll, and amazing community that helps us with food drives all year long.
